What is an Affiliate Program? - An affiliate program allows anyone the opportunity to promote the sale of a product through displaying links on their own website or in emails. You receive a commision on the sale any time someone clicks the link and buys the product.
This is a win win situation for everyone. You the affiliate make money on every sale made and the product supplier gets more exposure for their product as well as sales that they may not have had if it weren't for the affiliates.
Synergy Gaming has been seeing an increased amount of traffic and sales since the release of our Leveling Guides and we have had numerous requests to have an affiliate program.
This page is dedicated to giving you the information you need to get setup as an affiliate and to start making some money. You do not have to be a webmaster or even have a website to be an affiliate. You can embed the html links right into your emails and send them to family and friends. We invite everyone to participate.
This is also a great way for you to get a free Leveling Guide. If you refer enough people through your links then your commission will pay for your Leveling Guide.
So How Much Money Can I Make? - It is all up to you how much money you will make. Synergy Gaming sells the Horde and Alliance Leveling Guides for $25 each. You will receive 40% from each sale minus any fees from our payment processor (2Checkout).
Get 3 of your friends or family to buy a Leveling Guide through your link and you just got yourself a free Leveling Guide plus some extra cash, or you can keep sending out links or post them on your own website and make money off every sale for as long as you like.
How Do I Get Started? - You will need to go to the website of our payment processor called 2Checkout and register for a free affiliate account. The instructions are listed below.
1. Go to https://www.2checkout.com/va/signup and click on the 2 checkboxes at the bottom of the page. Then click on "Continue"
2. Fill out the form with your personal nformation such as as address and phone number and then click "Continue".
NOTE: They ask for information that you may not have such as a company name, customer service phone number, and website url. These fields are required and you must put something in them. Just make up a fake website url such as www.nowebsite.com or use your own phone number as a customer service phone number if you do not have these things.
3. Create a userid and password and click "Continue".
4. Login with your userid and password at https://www.2checkout.com/va/affiliates/
5. Click on the Account link and then click on the Bank Account link underneath it. Then click on the Banking Wizard on the right side of the page and enter in your payment method and bank information and then click "Continue".
6. Click on the link on the right side of the page that says "Set Live"
NOTE: There is a Pricing Currency Box that defaults to Australian Dollars. You can select US Dollars and click the update button or any other currency and it will default back to show Australian Dollars. Give it till the next day and it will update. As long as the box underneath it that says "Paid In" shows the correct currency you will be ok.
7. Click on the Affiliates link at the top of the page. Then go to the Category list on the right side of the page and scroll down to the Software Category. Click on the "Other" sub-category under the software main Category to highlight it.
8. Type in the word Synergy in the Keyword box and hit enter.
9. Click on the product you want to promote with links in the list. There should be 3 to choose from: Horde, Alliance, and Horde and Alliance.
10. Copy and paste the HTML code you wish to use into your web page. You can modify it any way you need to.
